Beachfront
The Beachfront's
pristine views of the crystal-blue Pacific Ocean and rows of
stately palm trees makes for some of California's most spectacular
sunsets.
|
There are approximately
300 homes
considered to be Beachfront properties. Many of
these homes have been owned by the same families for generations. Because of
the infrequency of availability, these properties are the highest priced
amongst all in Santa Barbara County.
The area, rich in its
vibrant display of the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands, offers the finest
views California beachfront homes have to offer.

The
waterfront, extending 3.7 miles from Shoreline Park to the Bird Refuge, was
originally home to five very established pre-Colombian Chumash Indian
villages. In 1872, however, Sterns Wharf was constructed which proved to be
the beginning of a booming industry for Santa Barbara. Soon wealthy
health-seekers made Santa Barbara a fashionable resort, creating a reputation
this area continues to be known for worldwide.
